One (1) NEW Songbird Magnet electronic bird caller made by Bird-X. This digital caller was designed in consultation with ornithologists and biologists to achieve maximum results in attracting birds to your feeders and/or nest boxes. It contains naturally recorded, pre-programmed digital output that represents multiple birds, with each song set to play at naturally occurring sound levels and intervals.
The user can set the caller to attract either purple martins or songbirds in general (recordings include songs from eastern bluebirds, Baltimore orioles, house wrens, house finches, American goldfinches, and indigo buntings). In addition to volume control, this caller features a photocell light sensor, which allows the purple martin calls to sing continuously during daylight hours, enticing new arrivals and passing martins to make their home in YOUR purple martin house. If set on songbirds, the songbird calls run intermittently from dawn to dusk. Optionally, the user can override the light sensor to play calls at any time of the day or night.
This caller runs on 110V AC, and it features a 50' power cord. The caller can be mounted (mounting screws included) via the keyhole slots on the back and it is waterproof. Instruction manual is also included.
