If you've followed Avery decoys through the years, you'll recall that in 2005, Avery packaged their Pro-Grade active- and feeder-style decoys with two decoys on fixed Realfeet foot bases and four decoys on RealMotion stands and stakes per box.  Avery converted all their feeder- and active-style decoys in all grades to RealMotion stands and stakes starting in 2006. 

For years I've had lots of calls from hunters wanting to buy only the decoys on fixed bases because they're easier and quicker to set up, and also because a lot of movement in goose spreads looks unnatural, particularly for larger subspecies of Canada geese. 

Well, here they are!  Six (6) NEW full body Pro-Grade Series Feeder-style Canada goose decoys made by Avery Greenhead Gear.  These are NEW 2005 models with flocked heads.  The heads are flocked, and positions are two true feeders, two right feeders, and two aggressive feeders.  All these decoys stand on fixed Realfeet foot bases. 

The foot bases on these decoys can be difficult to install.  While this was often the case for Avery decoys with foot bases in 2005 and earlier, attaching the foot bases on these decoys seems to be more troublesome than normal.  When these were a current Avery product, they used to put a flyer in the box with them recommending that you heat the decoy and the foot base with a hair dryer to make installation easier.  My personal experience with these decoys is that often you'll have to do more than that and actually trim/sand portions of the foot base and/or the inside portion of the decoy to get the base to fit correctly and lock into position.  I haven't come across any of these decoys for which I couldn't get the foot base to attach, but some of them did take quite a bit of trimming and sanding to get a good, secure fit.  Also to avoid any further problems with fixed foot bases, I'd recommend leaving the foot bases attached once installed. 

These decoys are brand new, taken from the box only to take the photos in the ad, and they have never been used.  This is a great opportunity to pick up some very nice but virtually impossible-to-find decoys at a very good price.  Each purchase is for a lot of 6 decoys, so if you'd like more than that, simply purchase more than one lot.
