One dozen (12) NEW full body FFD Elite-Series Canada goose decoys made by Avery Greenhead Gear, 3 actives and 9 feeders. These are NEW 2005 models with fully flocked heads and bodies. The flocking on these decoys is lighter compared to the current models, and as a result, they stand out considerably better on dark backgrounds such as disced fields and pea fields that are common in Canada. Head positions vary among boxes, but the active heads appear to all be the same and the feeder heads contain varying numbers of three styles. All these decoys stand on fixed Realfeet foot bases for quick set-up time.
If you've followed Avery decoys through the years, you'll recall that 2005 was the first year that all dealers had access to FFD Elite decoys (in 2004 when Avery FFD decoys first came out, they were sold only at Cabela's). In 2005, Avery FFD decoys were packaged as 2 decoys on fixed Realfeet foot bases and 4 decoys on RealMotion stands and stakes per box of six decoys. These decoys are all on fixed bases.
Some movement in decoy spreads is great, but setting decoys on RealMotion stands and stakes requires additional set-up time, and if you primarily hunt larger species of Canada geese, too much movement looks unnatural, particularly on windy days. But if you did want additional movement, you could easily fit these decoys with RealMotion kits through the existing holes in the bottom of the decoys and still save a ton of money compared to buying current models. This is a great opportunity to add some very nice decoys to your spread at a great price!
